A New Direction

Here at EREVN we’re excited to announce we’re heading in a new direction. We’re moving away from commentating video games and on to developing a modulated web streaming platform EREVtv for broadcasting and webcasting alike.

With this move we’re going through a period of changing of the guards’ sort of movement. We’re bringing on new members to help with product development and releasing many from our commentating division. Staying onboard from the commentating days are Antonio “Pelle” Pellegrino and Robert Rush. The newest additions to our crew are Karan Singh. Pelle will be doing everything from lead developer to running the business aspects of the company. Rob is bringing his expertise in writing and live broadcasting to run the media aspect of the company. And Karan is bringing coding expertise in multiple languages and will be working with Pelle in the product design process.

We are still in very early stages of development and are continuing to make progress each day. Pelle and Karan are busy at work every day coding and developing the platform to shortly have it in Alpha testing.  Robert on the other hand, oversees all the work that’s currently being developed and will be writing updates every Thursday to keep a current state of development as well as milestones history to update those who follow us and are interested in what we’re doing.

When our product is finished we’ll have a streaming service that will be more affordable while still operating at the same capacity as our competitors. While we are creating a cheaper platform, we’re not slacking on the performance; the streaming service we’re creating will be able scale to operations of having just a few hundred viewers upwards of a few hundred thousand viewers. Moreover when it comes to the features of our product we’re creating interchangeable modules that will be usable by the customer and will allow for many different possible situations. These interchangeable modules will be anything from showing presenter information when they come on to twitter related operations. The fun part is that we are not stopping this service on the computer, we are going to be creating apps for all popular platforms currently in the consumer market; i.e. IPhones, IPads, Android devices, as well as console devices too. The product we’re creating will be used on a daily basis by web-stream content viewers around the world, 24/7 and 365 days a year.

We’re expecting to be finished with the Alpha stages by 3rd week of July and then shortly after to begin the Beta. From there depending on how well the Beta of EREVtv goes we’ll have a better picture as to when the next version of the product will be used en mass.

EREVTV

EREVTV is an online platform that while watching video, users can interact socially through mini apps and access relevant information on their computer or mobile device.

Interactive mini apps will be tailored to a show or event so the viewer’s TV experience is enhanced. Through the customizable interface, users will acess and populate social & content driven mini apps where each person can socialize with friends about current shows or events in real-time. This interactive platform will allow networks to tap into added revenue streams through advertising and create powerful consumers with increased buying power. This is accomplished with innovative advertisement solutions that encourage the user to “like”, buy, or share products or services.

This innovative platform will evolve how viewers and broadcasters have been utilizing the television medium.
